I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Atlantic Cafe Bar in Portreath, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The service was absolutely amazing and warm, thanks to Connie, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and attended to our every need with a genuine smile. The fish and chips were simply gorgeous – fresh and perfectly cooked. My little one was also thoroughly delighted with her hot chocolate and calamari rings, which were crispy, tender, and delicious.Beyond the food, the ambiance of the cafe bar added to our wonderful experience. We loved the gorgeous paintings of the sea and the stunning sunset photographs of Porthreath beach that were framed and displayed around the venue. The addition of fairy lights created a charming and cozy atmosphere. The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and beautiful decor made our visit truly memorable. If you're looking for a fantastic meal with top-notch service in a lovely setting, The Atlantic Cafe Bar is the place to go. Highly recommended!
The food portion is decent and tastes great after a great hike, with Excellent customer service and nice atmosphere which has given me a great impression. I definitely will place a strong recommendation to every hikers and families and friends worldwide.
Being local I've eaten here a few times but yesterday's visit was great. The food was amazing and the service was great, the staff don't look overly stressed even when it's busy. The food was lovely, had the Fish Board which I can't recommend higher!Bit noisy and echoey, but that's due to hard floors and lack of soft furnishings - can't have either at a beach cafe so totally get it.I'll be back for another Fish Board when I next get an opportunity
Lovely little café with excellent food.Popped in on a rainy Thursday lunchtime as we were passing. Place had a couple tables of people in and the menu looked nice so we went in. By the time we left it was full and some people had even reserved tables.Clearly very popular and with good reason.Ill definably come back if I'm nearby.
Food is always perfect, the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and the portions are generous too.
Wow! I reckon these were the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The fish was exceptionally fresh. The chips were utter perfection and the service was out of this world. We were really fortunate to visit on a music night which was blissfully entertaining. The staff here really ho out of their way to look out for you and well definitely be back for more!
The food was incredible! We shared the seafood platter which was huge!! My favorite was the warm smoked mackerel. I hadn’t finished my tea yet so I got a to-go cup which was nice.
After a long coastal walk and a mishap planning lunch, I was very hungry walking into here but luckily the kitchen was still open for a short while so we were very grateful of this and an empty table! I absolutely enjoyed my chilli jam halloumi loaded fries and just what I needed. As my challenge for each day of this holiday was to eat an Easter themed cake each day (and it was Easter Sunday after all) I treated myself to the Creme Egg Caramel slice for dessert. Really good menu and plenty of choice for vegetarians and for children.
